Event Occurence
My Family - Parents, Sister and niece and brother, as they were returning from Warangal to Hyderabad, enroute, at Aleru, Police diverted the traffic to take inroads into villages and find way back to road. The traffic was diverted to aid Yadadri Temple Development Inauguration Programs by Chief Minister KCR today that started in the morning.
Observations - how long does an inauguration program run? Whole day and night?
How the programs continued up into evening and even night time at 9:00 PM too is bit bizarre. So will this traffic divergence be regular event? If yes, are the officials planning to set sign boards around the divergent path to head back to highway?
Problems - Direction less and Connectivity deprived
My brother had GPS and so he was able to navigate a bit. What about those drivers who do not use GPS? Will they get stranded? I was trying to call family over their cell phones, and the signal for BSNL and Airtel Mobile numbers was not available.
